The imperative: Sie, du, and ihr

To give instructions or advice, place the verb in the very first position. For formal Sie, use the infinitive and keep the pronoun Sie right after it. For plural ihr, use the regular ihr verb form with -t and drop the pronoun. For du, take the verb stem without the -st ending and drop du entirely.
